Maharani Chand Kaur was fourth ruler of the Sikh Empire, proclaimed as Malika Muqaddisa on 2 December 1840. She was born to Sardar Jaimal Singh of the Kanhaiya misl and was the wife of Maharaja Kharak Singh and the mother of Maharaja Nau Nihal Singh.
She was a powerful figure in the Sikh court and is remembered as one of the most influential women in Sikh history and an important figure in the Sikh Empire.
